Abstract:		 In October 2013, an archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology, commissioned by Prospect Archaeology, on land at Chesterton Gardens, Sydenham, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. A shallow ditch was exposed which was truncated by a furrow on the same alignment. Evidence of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation was identified across almost half the site. A modern backfilled pond or large pit was also identified along with features relating to land drainage.
