Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out during contractors groundworks for the conversion of the former French Horn Public House and associated Coach House into two separate detached dwellings, with the addition of two new dwellings on the land to the rear of the French Horn itself. The monitoring programme revealed no significant archaeological deposits, with only a single feature of fairly modern date being recorded. |
