Abstract:		 A watching brief and subsequent excavation was carried out between 2 and 15 July 2015 including excavation between 10-14th July. Trench 1 the substation and cabling within the Robert Gordon University quadrangle produced 29 burials (of which 25 were lifted) and a robber trench, possibly for the east wall of the Blackfriars church.
