The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A standing building survey was undertaken at the former parish church of Alvah, Banff. The church, which was closed in 1973, had been built in 1792, with a porch and vestry added in 1882-3. A rectangular bellcote on the W gable dates to 1645 and had been re-used from an earlier church on the site. The interior of the building, although dilapidated, retained many original features with fine timber pews and pulpit.
