Abstract: |
A standing building survey recorded this 19th-century farm steading prior to its conversion. The main building had originated as an L-plan by 1864 with a difference in stonework indicating the extension of the steading to a U-plan by 1901. A separate building may have been the original stable and cart bays. This is a good example of an estate-built steading with good well-dressed stonework. However few internal details survived. |
