Abstract:		 In August 2017, Archaeological Solutions Ltd (AS) carried out archaeological trial trench evaluation on land off Sacombe Road, Waterford Hamel, Hertford, Hertfordshire (NGR TL 31850 14998), in accordance with a condition attached to planning permission for residential development. The evaluation revealed no archaeological features or finds, and it was evident that the site was truncated.
