Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 19 hectares of agricultural land. A number of features of archaeological origin have been identified. These consist of a probable enclosure and a number of infilled surface drainage channels. Other features identified are likely modern, agricultural or natural in origin. These include a service, magnetic disturbance relating to field boundaries and fences, land drains, scattered magnetic debris and spikes and large areas of natural magnetic variation (including a probable palaeochannel). |
