Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 5.3 hectares of agricultural land. The survey has not identified any anomalies of probable archaeology. A small number of linear anomalies have been classified as possible archaeology, however the narrow nature of the survey makes more confident interpretation difficult. Former field boundaries and areas of modern ploughing suggest that the area has a recent agricultural past. The remaining anomalies are natural or modern, relating to an underground service, track ways, ferrous objects and fencing. |
