Abstract: |
An historic building record was prepared in advance of alterations to the ground floor of the property, which is designated as two Grade II Listed Buildings. It dates to the mid-19th century, and comprises a quayside warehouse with integral offices. Surviving historic fixtures and fittings include the staircase between the ground- and first-floor offices, as well as loading hoists on each elevation and associated chain winches within the roof space. A series of probably 19th-century, as well as 20th-century alterations was recorded. |
