Abstract:		 A watching brief was kept on 6 April 2017 during the replacement of a pole on an overhead power line near Ardfern, Argyll. The watching brief was undertaken because of the proximity of a fort or dun (NM70SE 7) although nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered within the pole trench.
