The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological field evaluation at Bowden Lane, Henstridge, Somerset revealed limited past agricultural use of the land. Although the majority of features were undated, at least two phases of agricultural activity were identified. The earlier phase was possibly medieval in date, the later was post-medieval. The site seems to have been marginal land away from the focus of settlement activity and activity there was related to ploughing, drainage, field boundaries and possible quarrying.
