Abstract: |
Between 1st and 3rd February 2016, Oxford Archaeology East carried out fieldwalking on land off Gilden Way, Harlow, Essex. This identified a scatter of struck flint and a spread of Roman ceramic building material, probably related to an adjacent, scheduled Roman building. In March 2016, ad hoc monitoring of geotechnical test pits took place. This uncovered no further archaeological deposits. |
