Report on an archaeological watching brief undertaken during groundworks for the installation of a potable water supply to the church of St James the Less, Halse, Somerset. About 65metres of shallow (<50cm deep, 30cm wide) trench revealed no archaeological contexts.

Report on an archaeological watching brief undertaken during groundworks for the digging of a foundation trench for a memorial wall, in the north-east of the churchyard. About 20metres of curving and shallow (400-700mm deep x 600mm wide) trench revealed no archaeological contexts.
