| Description | This collection consists of images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation by Cotswold Archaeology. The work occurred at Rugby Gateway, Rugby, Warwickshire from October to November 2021. Evidence of ridge and furrow agricultural practice was evident across the site, surviving as truncated furrow bases, with multiple alignments identified in the north-western and south-western extents of the site, indicating the potential for small field plots. A single ditch in Trench 70, located towards the south eastern extent of the site, contained pottery dating to the Middle - Late Iron, Age and Roman periods. |
