| Description | This collection consists of images, site records and a vector graphic from an archaeological watching brief by Archaeological Research Services Ltd (ARS Ltd). The work occurred at St. Leonard's Church, Blithfield, Staffordshire in March 2024. No features of archaeological significance were encountered at the watching brief. A brick built, mid to late 19th century drain was identified at the eastern extent of the trench. Two fragments of disarticulated human bones were encountered the machine excavations of the trench but the condition of the bone was too poor to warrant further analysis and they were reinterred in the drainage trench during reinstatement. |
