Historic Building Recording Images of The Malthouse, Bailey's Mill: North facing shot of the south elevations of the buildings

This collection comprises images from Historic Building Recording work, undertaken by Archaeological Research Services Ltd in March 2020, at The Malthouse, Baileys Mill, Lumsdale Road, Matlock, Derbyshire.

The proposed development was for the creation of four dwellings in the historic former malthouse, erection of seven new dwellings and two apartments and construction of an access bridge for the site. The historic building recording provides a descriptive, drawn and photographic record of the buildings occupying the site at the time and provides a comprehensive preservation by record of the Malthouse prior to full conversion works taking place.
