This collection comprises a watching brief report, site records and drawings, and site photographs from a watching brief carried out in January 2021 during the groundworks associated with the development of a cattle shed.

Archaeological Research Services Ltd was commissioned by Mr Jamie Bell (Owner) to undertake an archaeological watching brief at Mixon Grange Farm, Onecote, Staffordshire during the groundworks associated with the development of a cattle shed. The work, which was carried out between 4th and 7th January 2021, comprised a continuous archaeological watching brief during the groundworks. The watching brief was undertaken by Dimitrios Katsifas, Assistant Project Officer, and Rebecca Lydiat, Trainee, at Archaeological Research Services Ltd and the project was managed by Dr David Underhill, Projects Manager at Archaeological Research Services Ltd. All elements of the groundworks were cleaned and recorded by hand. Utility services, two land drains, a possible modern posthole and foundation trench of a rectilinear enclosure, possibly a building, were revealed.
