This collection comprises images from a historic building report, survey and analysis undertaken at Bumper Castle between June and July 2021 by Historic Buildings Survey and Research.

Bumper Castle is an isolated and derelict holding located in Bilsdale in the south west section of the North York Moors. The Hambleton Hills run north- south, approx. 4.5 miles to the west. It is located 1.75 miles north of Hawnby village amongst a scatter of farmsteads which lie on the east and west side of the wooded Ladhill Beck.
