This collection comprises images from a building recording carried out by Worcestershire Archaeology for Orion Heritage at Barn House Farm, Foxlydiate Lane, Redditch in June 2021.

The project was commissioned by Orion Heritage on behalf of their client, in advance of proposed demolition of existing buildings and the development of 63 dwellings with associated public open space and infrastructure. A planning application was granted by Bromsgrove District Council on appeal and is subject to a programme of archaeological works (19/01356/FUL).

The buildings at Barn House farm represent the sole surviving physical elements of a 17th to 18th century farmstead as shown by the presence of a timber framed threshing barn within the fabric of a largely brick 19th century threshing barn. This was itself turned into a house in the later 20th century.
