Introduction

This archive contains text files from a project plan produced by MOLA Headland Infrastructure for archaeological trial trenching at the Affinity Main Water Diversion, Hillingdon, Greater London. The files constitute part of the High Speed 2 Phase One digital archaeological archive.

Project Summary

The Project Design produced by MOLA Headland Infrastructure outlines the delivery of a programme for archaeological trial trenching at the Copthall cutting of the Affinity Water Main diversion. The trial trenching was required to assess the archaeological potential of the area ahead of the Affinity Water main diversion. Fieldwork was not undertaken by MOLA Headland Infrastructure.

Re-use Value Statement

This archive can be used independently and/or in in conjunction with the rest of HS2 datasets in order to inform the archaeological features and periods unearthed on this route as interpretations of landscape archaeology. This can also function as a guide to digital archiving for future infrastructure projects benefiting both the commercial sector and the research community.
