Title: Gateridge Farm, Croughton, Northamptonshire, Northamptonshire Written Scheme of Investigation Archaeological observation, investigation and recording Filename: CRGAFA19_0_WSI.pdf (3 MB) Description: Oxford Archaeology (OA) has been commissioned by Andrew Thompson to undertake an archaeological observation, investigation and recording (i.e. watching brief) of the site of a proposed agricultural workers dwelling. The work is being undertaken as a condition of Planning Permission (planning ref: S/2019/0850/FUL). Although the Local Planning Authority has not set a brief for the work, discussions with Liz Mordue, Assistant Archaeological Advisor at Northamptonshire County Council (NCC), have established the scope of work required; this document outlines how OA will implement those requirements. All work will be undertaken in accordance with local and national planning policies and Chartered Institute for Archaeologists guidance (CIfA 2014). |
