Introduction

General pre-excavation site shot
General pre-excavation site shot

This collection comprises the images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation, undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology, in February 2020, on land to the rear of 18 Denmark Road, Gloucester, Gloucestershire.

A single 'T' shaped trench was excavated. A series of predominately north-west to south-east aligned features was identified within the northern and central part of the excavated trench. The majority remained undated, although one gully contained a single fragment of post-medieval ceramic building material.
