This collection comprises images from historic building recording at the Bunker Site, Alemouth Road, Hexham, Northumberland. Archaeological Research Services Ltd undertook this work on 22nd November 2019 to Historic England's Level 3 standard.

This work was on a section of the north-west face of the road retaining wall; the wall in this case incorporates ten piers, c.60metres of capped parapet wall, an arched entrance of a former cart way tunnel and the 20th century site entrance, pillars and gates. The recording of the section of Grade II Listed walls has investigated the remaining structure and provided information relating to its history and development.

A watching brief was also undertaken at the Bunker Site. The scheme of works will impact the Grade II Listed retaining wall (NHLE 239248) and in response to Condition 5 of the Listed building Consent 19/01082/LBC, this watching brief comprised the continuous archaeological monitoring of development works and recording of any archaeological remains revealed during that process.
