Introduction

This collection comprises text, images, videos, 3D models, vector, LiDAR and GIS data from a historic landscape study and setting recording commissioned by Fusion and undertaken by Wardell Armstron on the landscape at Greatworth, Northamptonshire in May 2020.

Project Summary

Wardell Armstrong were commissioned by Fusion to undertake a historic landscape study and setting recording of the landscape at Greatworth, Northamptonshire. Greatworth is a designated conservation area and the study area, which extends to the east of Greatworth comprises land that was enclosed in the 17th century. The landscape encompasses the grade II listed Greatworth Hall and other, non-designated built heritage assets. The route of Phase 1 of the High Speed Two (HS2) railway passes through this landscape and construction activities will bring about changes to its character that will impact upon the setting of assets. A recording of setting is therefore required to provide survey data concerning the character and appearance of the landscape prior to the changes being brought about by the HS2 scheme.

Re-Use Value Statement

This study comprises a documentary and drone video/photogrammetric record of the landscape, which can be used for future analysis.
