This collection comprises text documents, site records, images, spreadsheets, and GIS files from a programme of archaeological monitoring conducted by INFRA Archaeology at Hunt's Green Farm, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire from November 2019 to January 2020.The Archaeological Monitoring comprised the observation of all intrusive groundwork in the form of trial pits, boreholes and a window sample.

Project Summary

The aim of the Archaeological Monitoring was to monitor the excavation of geo-testing pits for the presence or absence and extent of any surviving archaeological remains. This was to ensure the enabling works did not impact on the archaeological resource. The Archaeological Monitoring was conducted prior to a Trial Trench Evaluation at Hunt’s Green Farm.

Re-Use Value Statement

A total of six trial pits, two cable percussion boreholes and one window sample for geological testing were monitored which encompassed c.21m2. No features or finds were observed. The dataset has little potential for further analysis.
