Introduction

This collection comprises of images, CAD data, spreadsheets and site records from a programme of archaeological mitigation undertaken by MOLA-Headland Infrastructure (MHI) at Freeman Street, Digbeth, Birmingham between May and June 2019.


Project Summary

The mitigation consisted of the excavation of a 1200m2 area, targeting the location of the former Baptist Meeting House and its immediate environs.

The mitigation was designed to target the plot of the former Baptist Meeting House, to investigate and record any human burials, and any other archaeological remains present; to clarify their nature, extent, date and significance.
