Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Introduction

Wall 103 looking South.
Wall 103 looking South.

This collection comprises images and GIS data from a programme of archaeological work undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in October 2018, during groundworks associated with the erection of a detached garage at Windrush View, Lansdowne, Bourton on the Water, Gloucestershire.

Three possible un-bonded limestone walls were recorded, although no artefactual material was recovered. Whilst the walls were only partially exposed and remained undated, it is likely that they relate to Roman structural evidence recorded on the site by a preceding evaluation.
