Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Introduction

J961 Rollright Quarry greyscale image of magnetometry data
J961 Rollright Quarry greyscale image of magnetometry data

This collection comprises raw and minimally processed magnetometry data, a greyscale image of processed magnetometry data and a CAD drawing from a geophysical survey at Rollright Quarry. Work was carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd in April 2023.

Detailed magnetometry was carried out over 1.6ha ahead of an extension of Rollright Quarry using a hand-pushed, cart-based system of 5 magnetometers spaced 0.5m apart collecting data at 20Hz. The survey located anomalies associated with naturally formed features and agricultural activity.
