A fairly fine textured fabric with conspicuous flecks of silver mica, reddish-orange in colour (2.5YR 6/6 – 6/8).
A distinctive fabric containing subangular quartz grains, average size 0.20mm, with frequent plates of muscovite mica, some grains of plagioclase and potash felspar, amphibole and rare fragments of a granitic rock. The chemical analysis of the workshop products is discussed by Laubenheimer (1986).
