Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Spatheion fabric

Fabric Visual Characteristics

This form occurs in more than one fabric, though it is normally hard, rough, fairly sandy and variable in colour from light red (2.5YR 6/6) to light buff (10YR 8/4) and often has a greenish cream slip on the outer surface.

Fabric Petrological Characteristics

Examples seen by Peacock & Williams (1986) are in a north African fabric (see the Africana types) and show frequent inclusions of quartz, and often limestone as well.
