Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Overview

The Derbyshire HLC project currently comprises a series of database records (held within HBSMR software), with attached GIS polygons. As a result, the GIS polygons deposited with the ADS only display a portion of the data contained within each record in HBSMR. The data analysis report and character maps for the Derbyshire HLC project are not yet finished. It is hoped that this report can be deposited with the ADS once it has been completed.
