Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Introduction

East Berkshire Historic Landscape Characterisation (HLC)

The East Berkshire Historic Landscape Characterisation (HLC) project, was funded by Historic England and undertaken by Berkshire Archaeology. The database and linked GIS form part of the Berkshire Archaeology Historic Environment Record, whereas the project report, which discusses the methodology used and presents the results and conclusions, is available here for download. The project covers the unitary authorities of Reading, Windsor & Maidenhead, Bracknell Forest, Slough and Wokingham, and was completed in 2019.
