Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd (ASC) is an independent company established in 1995 by qualified archaeologists with over fifty years' combined experience. Since that time the company has grown steadily, and now comprises a team with considerable expertise in archaeology, historic buildings, geophysical surveys and information technology. ASC is centrally based in the new city of Milton Keynes. The company regularly undertakes work in the South-East, the Midlands, London and East Anglia, and is happy to consider projects throughout the UK. All ASC staff are qualified and experienced archaeologists. Most are members of the Institute of Field Archaeologists. Since 1999 ASC has been recognised as a Registered Organisation by the Institute, in recognition of its high standards and working practices. In 2008 ASC also achieved certification to ISO 9001:2000. ASC is able to offer a comprehensive, cost-effective archaeological service through its links with other contracting organisations and independent specialists.
