Phoenix Exhumation Ltd is a specialist company experienced in all aspects church, cemeteries or redundant graveyards – whether to archaeological or non-archaeological standards (or a combination of both). Since our conception we have gain recognition as a professional organisation renowned in completing a number of large and small projects. Some of our notable projects include the largest commercial graveyard survey of 700 memorials in Kent, a detailed graveyard survey and desk-based assessment of a redundant church and cemetery in Manchester. Smaller projects completed include the skeletal study of an anatomical reference skeleton from Jesus College, Cambridge. Our work also requires us to work closely with the Ministry of Justice, Police, Coroners Officers, and Environmental Health Officers. A recent high profile case involved the exhumation of a burial for re-autopsy. Whether large-scale cemetery excavations, osteological studies or single exhumations Phoenix completes to the same high standards complying and exceeding legal and professional requirements (whether legal or set by the IFA).
