Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. Downloads

The database is available through the online query interface, but for those who want to carry out more complex analysis on the dataset, it can be downloaded here and reconstructed locally. Files available for download have been divided into the following categories which can also be accessed from the menu bar above:

  • Database: individual data tables from the Hayton Roman Pottery database are available to download as comma delimited files
  • Fabric images: photographs of individual pottery fabrics, available to download as jpg images
  • Form images: drawings of form profiles, available to download as pdf documents and jpg images
  • Stamp images: photographs of stamps available to download as jpg images
