DescriptionSimilar in style to Mechanics institute Manchester designed by J.E.Gregan1854-54. Two floors to east and three floors to west, brick built with stone dressing, three arcade windows. Previously East end would have bee identical but significant alteration of roof and upper parts of windows to a rectangular form than a arched pediment Access via Church street. West half is gable and hipped roof whilst to east a flat roof which may have been raised.
