Summary
DescriptionA crenelated pattern stretch of trench orientated northwest-southeast cut into the southwest-facing slope. The trench extends a distance of c.32.0m and measures up to 4.0m wide. The trench measures up to 1.40m deep. The parapet is located along the southern edge of the trench. The feature is located within an area of mature oak woodland. Though understood to have been constructed during the First World War, the date, purpose and individuals who constructed it are currently unknown. The trench is partially in-filled. No revetment to the edges of the trench is apparent. '
