Description'Canmore listing shows 'A drill hall is shown in Victoria Street on the 4th epoch OS map (surveyed 1940-41). Osborne (2006) notes that this hall replaced the one in Wellgate Street in 1911-12. In 1914 it was the base for 'C' Company, 6th battalion Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). The building has a symmetrical front with two three-light windows flanking a central door, with a single-light above. A large hall behind. The building survives and is still in use as a cadet centre. Information from HS/RCAHMS World War One Audit Project (GJB) 25 October 2013.'
