Full Record - 94-100 Normanby Road (PRN: 22278)

PRN22278
Site or location name94-100 Normanby Road
Summary
DescriptionThis spans four adjoined buildings. It is two storeys. It is a brick built building with a slate roof. There are some brick turrets that separate the individual lots. The roof is a decorated double pitch which is set out more like an arch than a linear angle. The ground floor is a shop fronted – mainly glass with headers. This is no longer as its original design. The second storey is most likely as it was originally built. There are four bay windows in each of the properties. These bay windows are modern upgrades. These are separated by brick turrets on either side. Above the window is an arched decorative brick work with a stone pediment. To the south of the building on Market Street there is a decorative freeze on the wall. There are only four large sash windows on the second storey; however these have been bordered up. There is no rear access to the building has another building has since been added to it. Likewise, a new build to the north of the building means it cannot also be accessed. '
