Summary | |||||
Description | Listed under 'Accommodation of Troops'. The building has a double pitched roof with tiles. The wall is rendered with pebbles. On the first storey there is a single door which appears to be fairly new. This is wooden and has a single glass pane in the middle. To the right there is a bay window. On the second storey there are two bay windows – one above the door and the other above the other bay. Whether this is the actual building is difficult to say for certain. There are a number of other buildings adjacent which were used in the first world war, so the likelihood is increased. On the 1953 map the building is labelled as ‘club’. | ||||
