PRN22310
Site or location nameCoatham Garage
Summary
DescriptionListed under 'Mechanical Transport' under Redcar. This is a two storey red brick (painted red) building. This is English bond. It has a double pitched roof with the rear pitch being longer than the front. The roof is made of corrugated iron. At the front of the building there is a little outside area made up of concrete where cars can park. The front of the building has three large entrances adjacent to each other which are all to the right of the door. The door is on the left hand side of these entrances, is a single entry door. This fronting has been significantly redeveloped. On the second storey there are three windows evenly spaced out from the left to the centre of the building. These windows are six paned triple sash windows. On the right hand side of the building there are two six paned triple sashed windows on the second storey. On the first storey there are two windows which have since been bordered up and a single entrance door on the right hand side. The rear of the building has no features, but a single red brick wall that runs along the back. The pitched roof comes down to this level. There are some changes in the brick work along this wall, and entrances that once were, are no longer.'
