Description | Two storey building with castellations and transverse hall to rear. Creast and datestone above entrance. Yorkshire Dragoons (C Squadron) drill station and 5th Battalion, Yorkshire and Lancashire Regiment(C and E Companies). Comment- No.1 (Barnsley and District) Battalion, West Riding Volunteers (Volunteer Training Corps) were given the use of Barnsley Drill Hall as their headquarters and for training.
