DescriptionThe home of Earl Grey and family. It became 1st Northumberland VAD Hospital in October 1914 when Lady Sybil Grey, 32 year old daughter of the 4th Earl opened it as a VAD Hospital, and also a home for Belgian Refugees. The original interior of the house was destroyed by fire in 1926 and then remodelled.
