DescriptionCanmore gives 'The drill hall is a single-storyed hall in coursed rubble with a gabled porch, which appears on the 2nd edition OS 1:2500 map. The hall has three windows to the east of the door, and a smaller window to the west. An attic floor is reached by an external stair up to a door in the gable, which is flanked by a small window. There is a flat-roofed extension behind. In 1914 the hall was drill station for 'H' Squadron, 2nd Lovat's Scouts and base for 'C' Company, 4th battalion, Seaforth Highlanders. It is now in use as village hall. Information from HS/RCAHMS World War One Audit Project (GJB) 18 July 2013.'
