Summary
DescriptionPart of Forth Inner Defences, built 1914. Two 4.7' guns from Kinghorn battery mounted here October 1914, these moved to Inchcolm Is. battery in 1917, and two 12lb 18CWT guns from Inchcolm moved here July 1917. Gun positions and remains of BOP survive on clifftop. Unclear if one of surrounding pillboxes also survives in gardens at Morlich Rd. DELs also gone. Edit- Directions: Follow the A921 Rosyth-Kirkcaldy Rd East through the r/about at Dalgety Bay station (C.Kolonko, 2016)
