DescriptionThree storey brick factory along Alexandra Street with two storey and three storey return on Great Brickkiln Street. Old mapping 1886 shows this as Alexandra Foundry (Brass). During First World War S Sansum and Co supplied aircraft tubes. Sansums had started c1862 and by 1902 were pen manufacturers and in 1919 sold radiator tubes. The works have had a number of tenants and is currently an art gallery and studios
