| Description | Site of Gun Emplacement according to a military map of First World War defences in North Norfolk. Located in field 440m South-East of Mundesley Holiday Village. The strategy behind the location of this Gun Emplacement is unclear; however it may have been intended to engage enemy shipping and landing craft attempting to reach the beach to the North-East. Although the map on which this defence work is recorded dates from 1918, this emplacement may have been part of the wider defences constructed in the area during 1916. The gun emplacement is designated ' No.6 R.A. 4', possibly referring to the Royal Artillery unit that manned this position. Located on private property.
