Full Record - Constitution Hill Belfast Truss farm building (PRN: 9504)

PRN9504
Site or location nameConstitution Hill Belfast Truss farm building
Summary
DescriptionPost-war building incorporating a Belfast Truss roof. The walls are of a later date, constructed from breeze-blocks with a metal frame. Map regression has revealed that this building was constructed between 1929 and 1969; the building first appearing on the 1969 25' OS map. It is possible that the Belfast Trusswork that forms the roof came from a nearby First World War airfield or factory building. Further site investigation required to confirm the origins of this structure.
