Introduction

Bennetston Hall, Dove Holes, Derbyshire Building Survey (OASIS ID: jwconser1-328745)

In October 2017, Jenny Wetton Conservation was commissioned by Chimp Manor Ltd to undertake an archaeological building recording to Historic England Level 2/3 of Bennetston Hall.

The site is located on the edge of the Peak District National Park in open countryside adjacent to the north of the A623 Chesterfield to Chapel-en-le-Frith road at Barmoor Clough at postcode SK17 8EY, grid reference SK083798.

The site survey was carried out on 3 July 2018 by Jenny Wetton MSc (Arch Cons) IHBC AMA and the results of the survey can be found in the report and accompanying images.
