Text With funding from Cardiff University's Innovation and Engagement scheme, a pilot community archaeology project based at Cosmeston Medieval Village was launched in February 2007. The dispersed finds and records of the largely unpublished excavations of the 1970s and 1980s have been collected, reviewed and catalogued, and geophysical surveying was undertaken in the environs of the deserted medieval village and manor site. Further surveying and exploratory excavation will take place in 2008. Information about the project can be found at
